Our work
Practical support.
A collective voice.
Our work brings people together around community welfare, consular outreach and representation.
Community welfare
Care, when it matters.
A community is strengthened by the people who step forward for one another.
During the pandemic, OPWC helped distribute food packages to NHS, Police and Royal Mail key workers. Our commitment to community wellbeing also guides our aims for education, employment and women’s participation.

Consular outreach
Closer to home.
Local connections can make outreach more accessible.
OPWC supported NADRA outreach in Newcastle in 2015. In 2022, our Hemel Hempstead team worked with the Pakistan High Commission and the local mosque committee to bring services closer to the community.
Ask the OPWC team about outreach in your area. For document applications, fees and appointments, use the Pakistan High Commission’s NADRA service (opens in a new tab). OPWC does not issue identity documents or passports.

Representation & connections
Making space
for our community.
A voice in the conversation. A connection across institutions.
From community seminars in Slough to meetings at the Pakistan High Commission, OPWC brings overseas Pakistanis into conversation with civic leaders and Pakistani institutions.
